Free is Good

Isn't it nice when you can get something for nothing? Whether it's a sample at the supermarket or an extra bagel if you buy a dozen, free is always the best price. That's especially true these days when we're all watching every penny. Well, Resplendence Publishing is offering something for nothing – and it's a very cool something for those of us who love a good story.

Check out the top of the Resplendence homepage for their "Free Reads" section. Click on it and you'll get a list of RP authors who have written stories that can be read for free. No strings attached, you don't even have to buy a dozen bagels to get your freebie. You'll find tales of varying heat levels, so there should be something for everyone, whether you like sweet romance or erotica or something in between.

The free reads are typically short stories, so they're the perfect companion when you're sitting on the porch, sipping an iced tea, and taking a break from gardening. They can also be a nice way to read yourself to sleep at night, especially if you want a head start on pleasant dreams.

The story I supplied is called APRIL'S ROSE, and it's an old fashioned kind of romance that you can even share with your daughter or grandmother. And, like practically everything else I write, I couldn't help throwing in a few giggles.

My advice is to kick off your shoes, choose an author (or 2 or 5), and enjoy a free read on a summer day. If free is good, then free romance is even better!

Enjoy!

Sorry it took me so long to respond - it's finals week for us summer school teachers. But now final grades have been submitted, so I can sit in the yard and read. I've read Annmarie's freebie, so I think Marianne is up next. :)
